Hitachi Data Systems and Avnet Technology Solutions India Partner to Deliver Enterprise-Class Information Infrastructure Solutions

 Avnet to provide India channel partners with innovative infrastructure solutions from Hitachi Data Systems 

Mumbai, India, April 24, 2013 -- Avnet Technology Solutions, the solutions distribution leader and an operating group of Avnet, Inc. (NYSE:AVT), and Hitachi Data Systems Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, Ltd. (TSE: 6501), today announced a pan-India and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) distribution partnership. This extension of a successful 13-year relationship between Hitachi Data Systems and Avnet in the U.S. and EMEA regions marks a focus for both companies on empowering the channel to deliver enterprise-class infrastructure solutions to customers across India and SAARC. The agreement allows Avnet to provide the entire portfolio of Hitachi Data Systems’ best-in-class technologies to customers through its strong network of value-added resellers and system integration channel partners.

Avnet's strong India and SAARC presence and value-add services will enable Hitachi Data Systems to grow its business through the channel and will provide the company with additional routes to market for its range of enterprise and mid-market solution offerings.
